Galvanized steel pipes are not commonly used in modern new construction, but if your home was built from the 1930s to the 1980s, it’s common to find galvanized pipes  Despite any work you may do on the house, it’s possible that its age is already a turn-off for many buyers.

 

Convenience

 

In general, old properties are located further away from the center of town.  Suburban newer homes are built close to the town for convenience’s sake, and so families are drawn there.  It’s easy to travel to and from school and work in newer homes.  Old homes simply don’t give enough incentive to add time to a commute.
